This resource is an I spy game forarticulation! Playing I Spy feels like a game for our students and gives them lots of practice with their speech and language skills! WIN-WIN!!
Playing ”I Spy” is a great activity to target a variety of speech and language skills. The mini cards included in this download are intended to be used in mixed groups. This way, students working on articulation can get high trials and students working on language can work on describing and defining different vocabulary words. The sentence prompt at the bottom of the card is a great way to describe and define nouns using two or more attributes. Students learn how to give a good definition without baring the cognitive load of making up their own definition.
Included
Each board has 20 pictures with sounds in the initial, medial, and final positions. I print these two to a page and use mini erasers or magnetic chips to cover the ones we practice as we play the game.
With this resource students will target a variety of speech and language skills such as…
