Why Morphology?
Research shows us that vocabulary is one of the biggest predictors of success or failure in school. It has a significant impact on language comprehension and expressive language abilities. Instead of addressing the symptoms of language disorders, we can make a bigger impact on language by explicitly focusing on morphology. Teaching students high-frequency prefixes and suffixes can equip them to unlock more vocabulary and even interpret unfamiliar words!
What’s Included?
✅This resource is a set of 20 high-frequency prefix and suffix trifold pamphlets that can be used to teach morphology in speech therapy sessions, special education classrooms, AND even general education classrooms.
