“This product is meant to serve as a resource when targeting open vs. close ended questions, asking and answering questions, and conversational turn-taking activities. It is important that our students know how to communicate and interact with different adults and peers.

What’s Included?

Pages 4-5: Anchor charts for open and closed questions. Use these when completing the activities as a visual reference for your students to refer back to.

Page 6: A social story about asking questions. Read this at the beginning of your sessions.

Pages 7-11: Question sort. Have your students read each card and determine if it is a close or open ended question.
**You can also pair these question cards with any game to motivate your students who need a prompt!

Pages 13-14: No prep worksheets to brainstorm what open ended questions they could ask in different environments.

Pages 15-17: Topic cards and game board. Students will draw a topic card and think of an open ended question to ask to another peer.
