TEACH Expected VS. Unexpected Behaviors

This resource was created to teach a variety of expected and unexpected behaviors. I use this primarily with students who have social language needs and individuals with Autism. Included in this packet is 22 behaviors that can either be identified as “expected” or “unexpected” choices.

Pages 2-10: Color options for 22 task cards, two envelope templates, and thumbs up/thumbs down visuals.

Pages 11-19: Black and white option for 22 task cards, two envelope templates, and thumbs up/thumbs down visuals.

You can use these during social group activities or as a file folder game where your students can sort the behaviors into the appropriate envelope.

Behaviors Include:

1) Destroying toys

2) Eating with a mouth full of food

3) Playing nicely

6) Having a bad attitude

7) Helping a friend

8) Listening ears

9) Plugging ears/not listening

10) Raising your hand

Print and laminate all cards on card stock for durability.
