Prefix and Suffix Sheets – Morphology Practice

$8.00

⭐️ I always struggled with finding consistent, solid morphology and syntax activities that kept my students engaged and research has shown that pulling random Tier 2 words from a list DOES NOT GENERALIZE. Therefore, we don’t see much vocabulary GROWTH.

⭐️ By teaching high-frequency prefixes and suffixes, your students will be able to decode unfamiliar words in text because they can break down the morphemes in the word to determine the meaning.

⭐️ This no-prep resource is a set of 88 vocabulary pages focusing on the most common/frequently used prefixes and suffixes. The pages walk you through cues to help define and describe the target vocabulary word using evidenced based prompts. Morphology is SO important to incorporate in our daily language sessions and these no-prep pages make it simple to implement. You will also find syntax support embedded to decrease the cognitive load of creating a sentence when defining and describing words.
