This is part 2 of my best seller: Social Stories for Children with Autism. Included are 20 MORE social stories to teach expected behaviors! Social stories can be a great tool for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They can be used to teach developmentally appropriate behaviors associated with various social situations. Typically, social stories are paired with visuals which I have provided. My social stories will typically include four sentence types: descriptive, directive, perspective, and control. The key to social stories is making it personalized…so use these stories as a template and modify as needed. Use these social stories to:
1.Teach basic social skills (sharing, using greetings, routines, etc.)
2.Teach understanding and appropriate responses in social situations (brushing teeth, joining a conversation, standing too close)
